While living in the Netherlands I started to play the guitar in order to play some of my precious music. Since then I have learned a number of songs, some of which I have recorded. The quality of the recordings and of my playing varies hugely; for some I spent hours on recording (guitar and vocals separately) and editing (which I know nothing about), others I just taped on the spot using a measly webcam mic. The recordings are roughly ordered by quality, so the lower ones are rather embarrassing. Enjoy! :-)

YouTubeDeath Cab for Cutie - A Lack of Color
YouTubeElliott Smith - Waltz #2, v2 (lower pitched, low-tech, with a hailstorm setting in)
YouTubeElliott Smith - New Disaster, v2 (lower pitched, low-tech, rushed)
The Beatles - Martha My Dear (a piano one)
YouTubeUdo Lindenberg - Wir wollen doch einfach nur zusammen sein (some bad whistling)
YouTubeAereogramme - Descending
YouTubeElliott Smith - I better be quiet now
YouTubeElliott Smith - Condor Ave. (damn freezer)
YouTubeElliott Smith - Abused
YouTubeThe Unwinding Hours - Solstice
YouTubeThe Beatles - I'm Only Sleeping
YouTubeGeoff Farina - Eventually
YouTubeElliott Smith - Say Yes
YouTubeElliott Smith - See You Later

Guitar: Seagull S6 Original. The microphone I used on the better recordings is the Rode NT1 A. As a interface I used the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. These are very affordable components, in case you want to start recording yourself. If you want the tabs for any of the songs, kindly ask.
